If you stop by the Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber of Commerce on a Friday this month, you will see the five "Chamber Chicks" in their Nature Center T-shirts.
The Nature Center is very fortunate to have a number of valued partners who have contibuted their energies and expertise in helping us reach our goals. One of those partners is the Pinetop-Lakeside Chamber of Commerce. Ruth, Valerie, Donna, Crystal, and Bev have been an invaluable resource to the Nature Center. Next time you stop at the Chamber, please thank them for all their help.
And remember Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, September 25 thru 27 is the Chamber's 34th Annual Fall Artisans Festival. Please join us at the Mountain Meadow Recreation Complex for the festivities. The event kicks off with a "Locals Night" Friday from 5pm to 9pm. Then on Saturday and Sunday the festivities continue from 9am to 4pm.
And please join us in the Fall Festival Parade on Saturday, September 26th. You can help us carry the banner of the Nature Center, and support other community groups including Save Our Park, as we all walk from Malapai Drive and White Mountain Boulevard (the corner where Kabuki's and the Renaissance Academy were) to the Blue Ridge campus. Please assemble at the corner at 8:30 am and be sure to see Mary Ellen Bittorf to sign a Consent Form.
The Nature Center is located at 425 S. Woodland Road in Pinetop-Lakeside, between Big Springs Environmental Study Area and Mountain Meadow Recreation Complex.
