Mark your calendar now for a very special event!
The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, a world-renowned zoo, natural history museum, and botanical garden, located just outside of Tucson, will be presenting their Raptor Free Flight Program on our site, Saturday, July 3, 2010. Come experience the thrill of free flying birds of prey at the Raptor Free Flight demonstration. Raptor Free Flight is a dynamic bird of prey flight program that occurs in the open, showcasing natural behaviors of native birds. Unlike other bird flight shows, the Raptor Free Flight focuses the attention on the birds and how they behave in nature.

This is just one of a number of activities and presentors we have planned for July 3rd. Come join us on the 3rd and throughout the year for FREE, family-oriented activities. And keep up with what is happening at your Nature Center by watching for future editions of the WMNC News and by visiting our website, www.wmnature.org.

The Nature Center is located at 425 S. Woodland Road in Pinetop-Lakeside, between Big Springs Environmental Study Area and Mountain Meadow Recreation Complex.
Additional information on the Nature Center, our complete schedule of programs, and the online Nature Store are available at www.wmnature.org or by calling (928) 358-3069.
