A Working Partnership for the White Mountains
The White Mountains Nature Center and TRACKS have a great partnership that greatly benefits the region. TRACKS is an organization of over 325 volunteers who plan, build and maintain over 200 miles of trails for non-motorized users (hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians) in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests. TRACKS and WMNC members worked together to build the trails at the Nature Center and will work together to maintain those trails. Both organizations have links to each other's websites, have common goals and objectives, have members in common, and jointly sponsor events. TRACKS website includes an activities calendar and encourages viewers to connect to the activities component of the WMNC for additional activities. It is a pleasure to work with the White Mountains Nature Center to provide quality progams and activities for residents and visitors to the region.
