Eligibility

The Summer Photo Contest is open all citizens, of all ages, who are NOT Board members of the White Mountain Nature Center.

Entry Period

The Summer Photo Contest begins on June 17, 2017, and ends on Saturday, August 26, 2017. All entries MUST be taken and submitted by midnight on that date (August 26, 2017).

What you can Enter

Nature and wildlife photos taken in the White Mountain Region of Arizona. Photos MUST be identified with a description of where the photo was taken. No people or domestic animals will be considered.

How you Enter

After you have taken your photograph, upload it using the form above to be placed in the photo gallery section. Fill out the entry form that will be attached to your photo.  You may enter an unlimited number of times.

Judging

Photos will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, and overall impact. Judging will be conducted by a panel of the White Mountain Nature Center Board of Directors. The panel will evaluate all valid entries and pick winners in the following categories:

Adult and Young Photographers

There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner chosen in each of the two (2) categories. Anyone over the age of 13, will be considered in the adult category. All judging decisions are final.  The Nature Center will notify the winners via the contact information provided at the time of the entry.

Your Rights

You will retain all rights to any photograph you submit. If you submit a photograph to the contest, you grant the White Mountain Nature Center a royalty-free, non-exclusive right in perpetuity and the right to:

Display the photograph, allow third-parties to share the photograph on the following social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.

Release and Limitations of Liability

By entering you agree to release and hold harmless the Nature Center, Facebook, their respective parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all claims of action arising out of participation in the contest.
