No account is needed to use the fieldbook. The installed theme does not add advertising, analytics services or third-party embedded maps. The hosting provider may retain access logs for operation and security.
The correction form
Submitting a note creates a private WordPress record containing the message and any name or email address you choose to supply. Authorised site administrators can read it. It is not a public comment and is not automatically sent to the Nature Center.
The editor keeps the record until it is removed. Please do not submit sensitive personal information or precise locations that could put wildlife at risk.
Spam protection and cookies
The form uses a one-minute rate limit based on a salted hash of the connecting IP address. The raw IP is not included in the saved note. Hosting logs are managed separately. WordPress may set authentication cookies for administrators who sign in; ordinary reading does not require an account.
